For advisors

Propose the fix. Verify the evidence. Leave the decision to the insurer.

Advisors work inside an SME’s PrismX workspace. They see the gaps in priority order, propose actions, and verify the evidence the SME uploads. An advisor can be PrismX advisory, a broker’s technical partner, or the SME’s own IT provider. The SME chooses and the SME accepts.

Advisors never price, quote or place cover, and never see an SME they are not assigned to.

PrismX prepares risk information. Insurers decide eligibility, pricing, coverage and claims. PrismX is not the underwriter or a broker.

Prioritise, Improve, Verify

What an advisor does

An advisor works in three workspaces, always inside the SMEs assigned to them.

  • Read the gaps in Prioritise with the reason each one matters.
  • Propose actions in Improve with a suggested owner and date. The SME accepts or declines.
  • Verify evidence in Verify. The SME cannot verify its own files.
  • Help the SME through the submission narrative before it is signed.

What an advisor cannot do

The SME and the insurer keep the decisions that are theirs.

  • Sign or send the submission. Only the SME admin can.
  • Change a derived answer without the SME giving a reason.
  • See any SME outside their assignment. Enforced in the database.

Who can be an advisor

The SME chooses who advises it.

  • PrismX advisory

Our own team, assigned by the insurer during the pilot.

  • Broker’s technical partner

An MSP or security firm the broker already works with.

  • SME’s own IT provider

The people who already run the systems.

Common questions

Something else? Ask us directly.

Does the advisor’s work change the premium?

The insurer decides that. PrismX records what changed and the evidence for it. Nothing else.

Who pays the advisor?

During the pilot, the arrangement is agreed between the SME, the broker and the insurer. PrismX is not part of that transaction.
