For insurers and MGAs

Small business submissions you can underwrite with less follow-up.

SME cyber applications arrive incomplete, inconsistent and hard to check. PrismX prepares them against your own question set, with evidence behind the answers and a signed pack you can rely on.

You keep every decision. PrismX prepares risk information. Your underwriters decide eligibility, pricing, coverage and claims.

PrismX prepares risk information. Insurers decide eligibility, pricing, coverage and claims. PrismX is not the underwriter or a broker.

Why small business cyber is hard to write

  1. Answers you cannot compare

Every applicant reads the questions differently, so two yes answers rarely mean the same thing.

  2. Follow-up that costs more than the premium

Chasing missing answers and evidence for a small policy eats the margin.

  3. Claims that start badly

Late notification, the wrong providers in the first hours and decisions made without consent.

  4. A profile that is out of date by renewal

The application is a snapshot. Controls lapse during the year and nobody knows.

What a cedent or MGA gets

  • Your question set, answered the same way

Answers derived from one control library and the SME’s profile, with the controls behind each answer and a reason for any override.

  • Referral rules applied before you see it

An all yes, no referral check runs on the submission, and the verdict travels with it.

  • Signed packs with a certificate

Typed signature, time, IP address, browser and sha256 hashes of the record and the pack, computed on the server.

  • A review queue

Sent submissions by SME, question set, date, referral result and status, with the signed pack to download.

  • Verified evidence

Your reviewers can verify evidence. The SME cannot verify its own.

  • Pilot reporting

Coming in the pilot: applicants reaching quote, quote to bind, submission to bind time and control evidence rates against your baselines.

  • Remediation outside your decision

Who fixes an SME’s gaps is the SME’s choice. PrismX records the action and the verified evidence. Nothing about pricing or placement changes.

How a cedent runs it

  1. Set up your tenant

PrismX creates your workspace with your market and default question set, and invites your admins.

  2. Bring in SMEs

Create SMEs, invite brokers, or share your invite code so SMEs register themselves.

  3. Assign advisors

Assign advisors to SMEs that need them: PrismX advisory, a broker’s technical partner or the SME’s own provider. Advisors propose and verify. The SME accepts.

  4. Review and decide

Signed packs arrive in your review queue. Your underwriters take it from there.
