The terms for using PrismX.

What PrismX does

PrismX helps a business gather and organise its cyber risk information: its controls, evidence, suppliers and systems. It builds a signed submission that the business can share with its insurer and broker, keeps the risk profile current, and supports the business through an incident.

PrismX is not an insurer, an underwriter or a broker. It does not sell, price or place insurance, and it does not decide eligibility, cover or claims. Those decisions stay with the insurer.

Your account

• Use your own work email and keep your password private. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
• Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
• The administrator of your organisation decides who else from it may use PrismX and what role they have.

Your information

You are responsible for the information you enter and the files you upload, and for having the right to share them. Answer questions truthfully. A submission you sign is your own statement to your insurer.

You keep the rights to your information. You allow PrismX to store and process it to provide the service, and to share it with the people your organisation works with in PrismX, as the Privacy Policy describes.

Drafts written with AI

Some features suggest text, such as a summary of a document or a draft narrative. A suggestion stays a draft until a person reads it and accepts it. Check every draft before you rely on it or sign it.

Using PrismX fairly

• Do not try to see information that belongs to another organisation, or get round the access each role has.
• Do not upload anything unlawful or harmful, such as malware.
• Do not overload, probe or attack the service.

The pilot

PrismX is in a pilot. Features may change, and the service may sometimes be unavailable while we improve it. We will tell you about changes that affect how you use it.

Responsibility

PrismX helps you prepare information, but it cannot guarantee that an insurer will offer cover, at what price, or that a claim will be paid. As far as the law allows, PrismX is not liable for decisions made by insurers, brokers or you on the basis of the information in PrismX.

Ending your use

You can stop using PrismX at any time and ask us to close your account. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. What happens to your information afterwards is set out in the Privacy Policy.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top and tell you about important changes in the app or by email.
